the Giant Peach

This conceptual circus design brings the beloved story of James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl to life. James is our narrator and takes the audience through his magical adventure to find somewhere that feels like home after losing his parents.

His Aunts serve as the clowns in this story and appear as a comic relief throughout the show. The Magic Man appears throughout the show, performing magic acts and guiding James from afar throughout the story. Each of James’ insect friends will have individual acts that relate to their physical characteristics (i.e. Grasshopper on stilts, Ms. Spider on silks, etc.). This story follows the plot of the Tim Burton adaptation. The show will not have dialogue but will include instrumental versions of the songs to go along with each act.
